For more than 25 years Advetech has been a leading manufacturer of these blades for centerless grinders using various metals, tungsten carbide, tool steel, bronze and others depending on the material to be ground.

Tolerances of +.000010" can be held and finishes of 0-2 rms can be furnished if required.  Special checking equipment assures dimensional accuracy with an understandable printout accompanying product to customer.

Standard blades for many centerless grinders are stocked.  Special blades are available with minimum delivery time.

CAMS for centerless grinders, both grinding wheel and regulating wheel cams, are a specialty at Advetech.  Our CAMS can be supplied for domestic or foreign made grinders with metric or standard dimensions.  CAMS can be made of tungsten carbide or heat treated tool steel, depending on the type of work and required tolerances.  The intrinsic stability of tungsten carbide cams, especially when exposed to temperature variations, make tungsten carbide preferable to tool steel.  Grinding to tolerances necessitated by high technology makes the use of tungsten carbide a must.

CAMS are custom ground to print design and specifications 0-2 rms if required.  Digital printouts accompany cams to verify accuracy.  A lapped finish is desirable when grinding certain metals (e.g. bronze, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.) to prevent scratching or fusing of the piece part.
